Bryce's Birthday

Happy Birthday Bryce!!

We went to Red Robin for dinner with the family. Mom, Dad and Scott and Katie joined us. After dinner we went over to mom and dads to have Bryce's cake. I told him to pick any cake he wanted, find a recipe, and I would make it for him. Well, I don't know if I'll make that offer again! The recipe he chose was very complicated. It was a Raspberry cream cheese Chocolate cake. It turned out pretty good but not sure it was worth the 5 hours it took to make it!

Hancock Family Christmas/New Years

We have made it a tradition now to have the Hancock Christmas on New Year's day. Since new year's day was on Sunday this year and would be a hard day to get together we had it on the 30th, my birthday. We also all got together on New Year's eve. It's getting harder to take a picture of all of the grandkids! Counting Layne's wife Breanne there are 19 grandkids. It was so great to have everyone there! Melanie and Moe came from California and Val's family came from Las Vegas. The grandkids have so much fun together. They are always sad that the time passes so quickly.

Sarah ended up with the Napolean Dynamite clock in the white elephant game.

Lynnette got the cool couch potato!
Val, Ryan and Cori showing the gifts we all got from the parents.
This is Larry and Barbara on New Year's eve at 10:00! It was so noisy with all of us talking and playing games but I guess when you are tired, you are tired.

Christmas 2011

Another great Christmas at the Hancock's! We spent Christmas eve at Scott's house. We celebrated Kimball's birthday and decorated gingerbread houses. The kids had a lot of fun creating their masterpieces. Mom, Dad and Kevan were also there. We had fun playing games until pretty late and then on our way home we drove through the festival of lights in Spanish Fork. That is becoming a tradition, we have done it on Christmas eve the past few years. Christmas eve wearing the pajamas Grandma Hancock gave them. Keaton feeding James candy.

Mom's house didn't quite turn out! oops.

Jace's 10th Birthday

Jace turned 10! It's hard to believe a whole decade has passed since Jace joined the family! He is such a good boy and a blessing in my life. He has really started loving sports this year. He loves playing football and basketball and is excited to play city basketball for the first time this year. He wanted to go to Lowe's extreme airsports for his birthday party. He took his friend Ethan Cheney and his cousin Grant. Everybody had a great time and it was fun watching them try new tricks. We went to Pizza Pie Cafe after for dinner. We love you Jace!!
