Well today something happened that shocked and delighted me! Connor had to go to the dentist to get his first filling. (no that's not what I am so happy about) First a little history. Connor has never had xrays at the dentist or had his teeth cleaned because he freaks out too much for the dentist to do anything. The dentist could see a cavity last time we had exams. We held him down, kicking and screaming just so the dentist could look in his mouth. So as you can imagine, I have been dreading taking him to get the filling done. I have been preping him and bribing him for a couple of weeks. I told him if he was good and let the dentist fix the hole in his tooth that he could get a batman costume. I told him that the other kids don't cry at the dentist and that he needs to be big. I guess it stuck! He was PERFECT!! didn't even cry once, even when he got the shot! He just laid there and played video games and chatted with the dental assistant! It was amazing and a small miracle. As you can see from the picture he decided that he wanted The Hulk costume instead of Batman when we got to the store. Great for me because it was cheaper!!

APRICOT TIME!!
We have one apricot tree and it was loaded this year! I picked all of the apricots yesterday about 5 buckets. Today I attempted to make jam. The first batch didn't quite turn out! I was distracted by fighting kids, phone calls, cleaning up messes etc.. and the jam burned. Not a nice smell. So I tried again and it worked! It looks beautiful in the jars and it tastes and smells so good! YEAH, I'm so domestic, I made jam!

Stayin' COOL in the POOL!!
We went to Grandma and Grandpa's to play in their pool. It has been sooooo hot lately. The pool felt great! The kids didn't get out for over two hours. Some of the cousins met us there. Everybody had fun staying cool!

Marlie and Jordyn, BEST BUDDIES!! Aren't they cute?!
What a HOTTIE!

BASEBALL!!!! The All-American Pastime
After two months of 3 kids in baseball all I have to say is WHEWWW!! I'm glad it's over! We all had a great season and enjoyed being at the ball fields pretty much everyday. I coached Marlie's softball team this year. It was really fun and I loved coaching. The girls on my team were so fun and teachable. They did a great job! We placed 4th and got to go tournament.

Keaton gets better each year and had a couple of good hits this year. I hope he keeps playing now that he has invested 9 years into baseball.
Jace played t-ball this year. It is so funny to watch the kids his age play. He loved playing and had fun making new friends.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!!
We had a fun 4th of July! Our day started out in Provo to watch the big parade. My mom went out at 5:00 a.m to save us a place. If she wouldn't have done that I wouldn't have gone. It's almost impossible to find a place if you don't start saving a spot really early. The kids really liked the parade, except for the shooting canons and loud sirens. The boys especially liked the military vehicles and Marlie liked the BYU football players! She's got good taste!Tuesday, June 17, 2008
First Fish of the Season
We went up to Payson Lake on Saturday to go fishing for the first time this year. The weather was perfect and the fish were biting!!! Keaton was the winner, he caught two. Marlie and I each caught one. Connor helped me reel in my fish so I have to give him a little bit of credit. He was scared of it when it got close to him. He just dropped the pole and started to leave, he didn't know what to do with that fish flipping everywhere! As you can see in the pictures he was happy to just sit and eat his Doritos.

Joseph and Jessica Spaletta
Last weekend we went to Idaho to go to my neice Jessica's wedding. She married Joe Spaletta on 6/7/08. Jessi looked really beautiful and the wedding and reception were both really nice. It's hard to believe that my first niece, little Jessi is all grown up and married. Jessica was born the day I left to go to BYU my freshman year. Yes that means that my 20 yr. class reunion is coming this summer. I'm really happy for Jessi and Joe and I hope that they will be happy and have a great life together.
This was the first wedding that I have photographed. It was really fun and I got a few that I really like.
