KEATON'S LATEST PICTURES-October 2007

KEATON age 12

Keaton reluctantly let me take his pictures. I think they turned out great. He is a gorgeous kid.(so his mother says). He is a wonderful son and a big help to us. He is taking guitar lessons now and loves it! I think all parents want their kids to find a passion. I hope he continues with it. It will be a great talent to develop. He loves baseball and basketball. I think baseball is his best sport but we'll see. He definitely will have the height for basketball. He will be an official teenager in April, I can't believe it.

Marlie's latest photo's 9/07

MARLIE age 9

These are Marlie's latest photo's. I am going to try to take each child's pictures at least twice a year. They are growing and changing so fast. I just want to capture what they are like at each age so that I will be able to look back and remember those ages in their lives. I wish time didn't have to pass so quickly! I wish I had more time to spend with them as children. I need to remember to play and laugh with them more often. I get so busy with the stressful, day to day grind that I forget to treasure my precious time with my children. I don't want to have any regrets when I look back on my years as a"Mommy". I love being their mom and feel very blessed.

Marlie of course has no objections to getting her picture taken! She is fun to take pictures of , she's a great model!

Picnic with Kim and Mishaun

Before school started Mishaun, Kim and I had a little get together. It had been a couple of years since Kim and I had seen Mishaun. She lives in Farmington which is over an hour from Kim's house. We all met at Kim's and then took all of our kid's to a park to have a picnic. We are always so amazed to see how much each other's kids have grown. We had fun watching them all play together. Our get together's always seem too short! I am so blessed to have two friends that are life-long friends. I love them both.

Connor Turns 3 !!

We had a lot of fun with Connor on his birthday. We went to Thanksgiving Point, to the farm. He had never been there before or seen some of the farm animals up close. It was so fun to see him get excited and want to explore. Marlie, Jace and Connor all got a pony ride. Keaton, Marlie and Jace went on a wagon ride too. After we went to the farm we went over to Grandpa and Grandma Hancock's. We had the kid's favorite, potato soup for dinner. Ryan and Lynnette's family were there for presents and cake. Connor loved all of the "siderman" presents he got. Grandma and Papa Johnson sent him a Spiderman car and Lori sent him a stuffed Spiderman toy, he was in heaven. Connor is such a cute boy. They way he talks right now makes me smile all day. Some of my favorites are "otay", "dum"(gum),"muk"(milk), "bubaba" (blue bottle), "siderman tup" (cup) "Let's doe"(go), Dee (Keaton), soupman tape (superman cape), i yuv you, I could go on and on. He is so cute. He is very loving and sweet. I feel kind of sad that he is growing up so fast, just like the other kids are too! I am holding on to my "baby" as long as possible! He has been sleeping in our bed for a few months and I don't really mind, well at least I didn't mind at first. Our two goals for Connor now are completing the potty training and sleeping in his own bed!

Connor's 3rd Birthday!!

We had so much fun with
Connor on his 3rd birthday! He is obsessed
with Spiderman right now so of course we had a "Siderman" party and siderman "take" (cake). The day before his birthday we had five of his little friends over to play at the playground and have cupcakes. They were all
so cute. Connor covered his ears when we sang
Happy birthday, I guess he was embarrased.
The friends that came were Dustin Christensen,
Blake and Gabe Huff, Ryan Humphries, and cousin Kimball.

Fun at the cabin

We spent three nights and four days at a cabin in Ashton, Idaho. It is called Cave Falls Retreat, the Porquoipine Lodge. Everyone in my famly went; Mom, Dad, Lori & Bob, Jessi & Joe, Hailey, Kevan, Grandma Reynolds, Us, Scott & Katie and their kids. We had alot of fun! Bob brought their 4-wheelers and river boat. We went to a Lake and Bob pulled the kids and bigger kids (Bryce and Scott) on a BIG innertube with his boat. We had a picnic. It was hot and muggy and started to look like rain when we were getting ready to leave.
We all had fun riding the 4-wheelers, especially Keaton! He could wait to ride them because he got to ride it by himself for the first time. We went to Yellowstone and Old Faithful one day and saw some buffalo, elk and small rodent type animals.
It was really fun being all together.
